Meet The Team

Winnie

Hi there, my name is Winnie and I'm 21 years old. I recently moved from Rotterdam (where I was born and raised) to Maastrich, both lovely cities of the Netherlands. I make sure to often go back to my home town to visit family, since that is very important to me. My family is a great support and probably my biggest inspiration for Winsa. Now let me tell you a little bit more about what I actually do for Winsa:

I am the so-called co-founder and the designer. Meaning we both brainstorm, but I make the art. And that is the one thing I love doing most. Drawing, writing, painting (baking, decorating, reading, you get the idea). But why starting a company? I love to inspire people and I want to make sure anyone can wear whatever speaks to them. I wish I could spend the entire day drawing and designing so that we have art for every kind of human. However work and studies also keep me busy. I'm studying to become a primary school teacher. I think almost anyone will remember at least one teacher of their younger years that actually made a difference during their time in school. I want to become that teacher, I want to inspire. But for now, I'm very glad with what we offer at Winsa and I hope we can grow our circle.

Sam

Heyy, I'm Sam, I have just turned 20. Unlike Winnie I have lived my entire life in Maastricht. The most beatiful and most historicly rich city in the Netherlands (self proclaimed by me). But now it's my time to shine and tell you what I do for our little company:

I'm the head founder of Winsa. I do everything from sales to marketing to keeping the site up to date. It has always been my dream to have my own company and believe me, I have tried more times than I can count. The part of seeing someone in something I (we) have created is such an exciting idea for me. I have been called crazy on numerous occasions, but hasn't anyone that wants their own business. I spend many hours in doing research for the company and trying to make things happen, but besides working for Winsa I have my job in the elderly care and studying to be able to do my job as best as I am able to.

When I have spare time I love to play games. Most of them being simulator games, I love the micromanagement aspect of those games and the way you can play it the way you want. Besides that I like playing sports, I have recently started playing football (I refuse to call it soccer) where I play as a goalkeeper. I also adore spending time with my friends, I find it very important to spend time with the ones closest to you.
